MESSAGEmanager Fax on Demand is an “in the cloud” services version of MESSAGEmanager Fax which replaces the capital expense and operating costs associated with a premise based Fax Server, with a pay as you use model.
The on Demand fax service operates exactly like a premise based Fax Server. It uses the same interfaces specified by business application vendors for premise based fax solutions such as MESSAGEmanager and RightFax.
And unlike other hosted solutions, there is no requirement to log into a separate user database - MESSAGEmanager supports corporate Active Directory, Notes Address Book and LDAP databases.
The locally installed gateway provides the interface for business applications and user database to the hosted data centre.
The gateway also provides the interface for delivery of incoming messages to applications, users, group mailboxes, printers or folders.
At the heart of the MESSAGEmanager Fax on Demand solution is a multi-tenanted version of MESSAGEmanager Fax which all users share.
