Pulse is a new module for Content Server (formerly Livelink ECM – Enterprise Server) 9.7.1 which provides a people-centric view into your existing Content Server environment. It allows you to keep your finger on the pulse of the activity that is happening within Content Server, by viewing things like the Activity Feed for the colleagues you are most interested in, or an Activity Feed for a specific folder
location you are interested in. It enables easy, yet secure, collaboration around a piece of content through commenting.
Content Server Pulse allows you to:
• Empower your users to help each other
• Avoid information bottlenecks
• Quickly distinguish trends and thought leaders in your company
And most importantly, since this is an add-on module for Content Server you still get all the benefits of Content Server. Your existing users will still add content the same way they are accustomed to. All of your established access controls and compliance settings still apply. Pulse provides an alternative way of interacting with the content and users on the system.
