Event Overview:

Another year has passed and it’s our great pleasure to invite you to the annual OpenText Government User Group Conference 2012 on Wednesday, 18th January.

With the prevailing storms continuing to blow through Government and Public Sector, we continue to see challenging times ahead, with the need to consolidate our efforts and focus on strategic change never greater. With that in mind, we have put together an agenda that will focus on collaboration for success, with OpenText as a key strategic IT partner, and across the user group as we grow and develop stronger links across Government.

Reasons why this is a must attend event:

Launch of the GUG Online Workspace
Since the decommissioning of the Huddle site we have been working with OpenText to develop a new collaborative area on the OpenText Social Workplace platform. The conference will mark the official launch of the site and an opportunity for you to sign up. Who knows, there may even be a New Year incentive to do so!

Public Sector Case Studies
This year’s agenda includes a number of superb case studies including the Commonwealth Secretariat, G20 Toronto, the Scottish Funding Councils migration from LiveLink to ECM 2010, and Mini G-Cloud from the COI

Product Roadmaps
Roadmap presentations will cover the latest developments representing the OpenText product groups pertinent to the user group member companies There will also be a themed lunch and various roundtable discussion forums covering a range of relevant topics.

This year we invite you to bring along an end user or business stakeholder as a guest to the event, (please note, spaces are limited so register as early as possible). We think the opportunity to involve your end users and stakeholders will give all a better understanding and appreciation of each other's priorities, and should enrich our discussions on the day.

We do hope you will be able to join us this year and look forward to seeing to there.

Yours sincerely

The GUG Steering Committee Tim Cain, Jackie Blake, John Bowling and Christopher Wroath
