The eLearning Blueprint

The right learning at the right time accelerates user adoption of changes in the workplace, positively impacting your return on investment. At OpenText, our overall training plans consist of a blend of solutions including Instructor Led Training, eLearning and job aids. Each phase of our blended training plans are designed to further the learners understanding of the software and ensure transference after the training has taken place.

A key pillar of this blended learning approach is our eLearning offering. Our eLearning is designed to keep individuals and employees interested in corporate educational programs by making it convenient, relevant, immediate and fun!

  • Convenient
    • eLearning allows people to learn from work, home and on the road.
  • Relevant
    • eLearning may be personalized and ensures training is applicable to an individual, a division and corporate business objectives.
  • Immediate
    • Learning anytime, anywhere.
  • Fun
    • Highest quality interactive content keeps people engaged and current

Many of our customers have approached us about customizing our eLearning for their corporate communities. Scheduling geographically dispersed employees to attend instructor-led programs can be challenging. Training needs to be timely and relevant to participants to ensure retention. As a result, tailoring our eLearning programs has proven to be an effective way to deliver relevant, applicable modules to general users, project teams and administrators alike.

Our eLearning is designed to be available for your community from their desktop anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer eLearning programs that incorporate a Show Me, Tell Me, Let Me Try, then Quiz Me approach using a mixture of software simulations and audio components to impart the learning objectives. Typically a user is no more than 3 clicks away from a topic, and all topics are available from the main menu.

Upon your direction, we would be pleased to add, modify or delete modules, individual pages or text. Corporate branding (logos and colours) may be added to the start page in addition to the headers and footers. Our eLearning is SCORM and AICC compliant and may be published to third party Learning Management Systems.
